T H E S E A L E D B O O K ----- ----------- ------- 1945 First Show: Mar 18, 1945 Last Show: Sep 09, 1945 Number Shows: 26 Audition Show: none Series Description: This radio murder mystery series was origionally developed by Radio Station WOR (The Mutual Broadcasting System's flagship station in New York City) as a 1945 summer replacement for THE SHADOW. It was syndicated and was generally broadcast on Sunday evenings at 10:30 PM. The shows were written by Bob Arthur and David Kogan and the narrator was Phillip Clarke. Jock MacGregor was the director for the series. A total of 26 shows were produced. David Kogan was also a writer for THE MYSTERIOUS TRAVELER and many, if not all, of THE SEALED BOOK shows used MT scripts with different casts. Log Notes: All the shows from the series are available.
