Series Description:
Considered by many to be the best horror / science fiction series
ever on radio, QUIET PLEASE came from the pen of LIGHTS OUT creator
Willis Cooper. Every episode was written in first person and starred
the incredibly versatile Ernest Chappell. The shows range from
deeply personal human interest shows to some of the most original
horror / science fiction stories ever written.
Log Comments:
Special nods must go to Gordon Payton and Jerry Haendiges. Gordon
included a full show list in his catalog, including missing
(presummed lost) and partial shows. The missing and partial shows
are so noted. Jerry's log contains numerous notes on date and time
changes, etc.
Two dates, Sep 03, 1947 and Sep 10, 1947, fall on a day of the week
different from other shows in the series. These dates may be in
