Series Description: Comedy Ventriloquist act.

Paul Winchell tried to ride the crest of the Charlie McCarthy wave. Though Winchell was a better ventriloquist than Edgar Bergen, as TV later revealed, Bergen was funnier. But more important Bergen was on the radio first.
