Host Storyteller: John Nesbitt.

Series Description: Tall tales and strange happenings.

The Passing Parade was John Nesbitt's version of Believe It Or Not. It was a series of stories almost too incredible to believe but thoroughly documented by Nesbitt. Nesbitt told his stories "straight without sound effects or music-a major difference between his show and Ripley's Believe I Or Not. Nesbitt's stories often contained unexplainable elements, heightening their interest. Usually he told two stories in each program, he told adventure tales, stories of daring prison breaks, of the man who lived for four years in a cupboard. His stock in trades were disasters, disappearances, inventions, fanatics, swindlers, unexplained phenomena that changed people's lives.
