LUM & ABNER (the 30 minute shows) by Dick Judge For further information, contact the author at: dickjudge@juno.com This log was done NOT to detract nor to add to the fine LUM & ABNER log that was done by Shawn A. Wells and on this website. His work lists ALL programs that are in existence. My efforts were to provide information for the 30 minute shows only. This includes alternate titles for the shows as well as "open" dates for those that are not in circulation. The LUM & ABNER SHOW was on the air as a 30 minute show for two seasons for a total of 65 shows. There was a July 7, 1948 audition show for this two year run, as well as a network welcoming for the boys on September 26, 1948. October 3, 1948 (first show) to June 26, 1949 39 programs November 2, 1949 to April 26, 1950 (last show) 26 programs At this time only 37 of of the 65 programs are known to be in circulation. ***************************************************************************** Since there were no "titles" for the shows, I have included the first few lines to make it easy to identify them. In addition there are two other sections: a "first lines" list in alphabetical order and a shortened version of the list. If you have any queries about this log, the author can be reached at: dickjudge@juno.com.
