D A M E R O N ------------- 1972 - 1973 First Show: Sep 26, 1972 Last Show: Sep 18, 1973 Number Shows: 49 Audition Show: none Series Description: Roy Dameron was a private eye of the 1970's, a "go anywhere, do anything" type of guy, for a price. He's a professional international problem solver who uses his wits to solve his cases, be they solving a crime, preventing a crime or whatever he's called upon for. He never carries a gun. In fact, he doesn't even own one. He works with an assistant, Emil, who's pretty much a "jack of all trades". The series was created, produced and directed by Jim French. The part of Dameron was played by Robert E. Lee Hardwycke and Emil was played by Douglas Young. The 30-minute shows aired on station KVI, Seattle, on the Golden West Radio Network. Mr. French also created TOWER PLAYHOUSE during the same time period and would go on to creating CRISIS and THE ADVENTURES OF HARRY NILE. He's still actively producing radio drama, currently IMAGINATION THEATER.
