C A B I N B - 1 3 --------- ------- 1948 - 1949 First Show: Jul 05, 1948 Last Show: Jan 02, 1948 Number Shows: 25 Audition Show: none known Series Description: On March 16, 1943, SUSPENSE presented "Cabin B-13", a radio play written by John Dickson Carr, the creator of Dr. Gideon Fell, Sir Henrey Merrivale and Henri Bencolin and a master of locked-room mysteries. It aired a second time on November 9, 1943. Mr. Carr also narrated and hosted the MURDER BY EXPERTS series. "Cabin B-13" was spun off into a series of the same name. CABIN B-13 featured stories of impossible crimes, a Carr signature. It starring Arnold Moss as Dr. Fabian, ship's doctor on a luxury liner. The 30- minute shows aired Mondays from 8:30 to 9:00 PM on CBS stations. The scripts for all episodes were written by Mr. Carr. Director for the series was John Dietz.
