Born Rose Marie Curley in NY Aug 15, 1923. Had a fully developed voice as a toddler, By age 5 
reportedly earning $100K a year. Appeared on The Rudy Vallee Hour in the 1920’s and usually 
sang four songs on quarter-hour broadcasts under her own name. Retired in 1935 but returned in 
1938. An accomplished comedienne, she appeared as the wisecracking writer on TV’s Dick Van Dyke 
show.
