Series Description:

The British Broadcasting Corporation brought Vincent Price and Peter
Cushing together for this science fiction / horror serial in six 30-
minute episodes. The series was heard in stereo on Sunday evenings
from 7:00 to 7:30 PM.

Also in the cast were Henry Stamfer, Sandra Clark, Shirley Dickson,
Irene Tucklef, Fraser Carr, Andrew Spear, Steve Titus, Joan Matheson,
William Eagle, Clifford Norgate, Michael Harver, James Thomlinson,
Richard Herndle and Joan Benom. The writer for the series was Rene
Bijenico, producer was John Dyre and effects were by Chris Jenkins.

Professor Curtis Lark, played by Vincent Price and John Cornelius,
played by Peter Cushing, join forces when their friend, Dr. Hugh
Baxter, dies under mysterious circumstances on the remote Scottish
island of Lerwick. What they soon discover is a colony of mutants
and a fantastic plan to use them to control the government of Great
Britain.

Mr. Price and Mr. Cushing form a believable duo as the drama unfolds
toward its conclusion. Each episode builds the drama, holding the
final story resolution to the last episode. This series is a nice
inclusion in any science fiction radio collection.
